ALEXANDER LAKIN

Alaskan born, I will always have a soft spot for the open wilderness. It's where I draw much of my inspiration for my work. I'm Alex Lakin, an LA-based director of photography and colorist who's always on the lookout for interesting frames.

I am the founder of Coloring Book, and co-owner of production company Atomic Lunchbox. My portfolio features a collection of narrative, commercial, and experimental films that demonstrate a diversity of shooting and grading styles.

When not shooting, I'm usually found wandering somewhere in the mountains. Taking some snaps along the way with my dog, Q.
